I’m Emily, a book blogger and bookstagrammer from Yorkshire. I’m also Events Manager for The Book Party, and books are basically my entire personality.

I launched A Quintillion Words in January 2018 and it’s honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done. Back then, I simply wanted to blog about writing and books, and as soon as I wrote my first book review, that was it. The reviews kept coming, my shelves filled up, the TBR grew, I made loads of new friends and, well, here we are 😊

I read books across many genres but crime/thriller is my jam. My favourite authors include Gillian McAllister, G.D. Wright, Claire Douglas and Emily Freud to name a few, but this list is constantly growing each year. And I LOVE it!
