Things to note:
- To be able to promote your book in the best possible way on Instagram, you NEED to have a great cover. If the cover isn’t striking, if your cover doesn’t instantly turn heads, you’ve already turned off your reader and it will be super difficult to get their attention. Please bear this in mind!
- Results aren’t instant. Especially if you’re a brand new author with no connections or reader following. Give it time and be patient.
- Author engagement is important! You need to be engaging with other accounts, commenting and sharing their posts, replying to comments. You get as much as you give.
- Book sales aren’t guaranteed – as the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. But if you come across as genuine, friendly and appreciative online, the right readers will come to you.
- Please DO NOT USE AI. Whether this is your book cover or the writing, any social media comments or captions, just NO. I can’t work with you if you have used AI in any form. We don’t want it!
