The Books Of All Shades crew is in a state of shock. Why?

Our book club has been an incredible success!

I don’t just mean, “Oh, we’ve got a few submissions, that must mean we doing something right, at least.” In fact, we’ve actually done better than that. Much better.

Right now, we have over 80 book review submissions.

Wait, what?! Over 80 submissions in the space of just under 3 months? That’s absolutely crazy! We honestly wouldn’t have grown the way we have without the help of the awesome Twitter community.

The team were talking a few weeks back, (well, like we do most days) and collectively, we came up with a new idea that would not only help ourselves with our growing TBR pile, but something that would also help authors who need reviews quicker than most.

Introducing – Our Books Of All Shades Review Packages

We want to make sure that you’re getting the best possible service from our book club. You, the author, are our priority. We know how important it is to stick to deadlines because, well, we’re authors too.

The process is this – when you submit a book to us for review, or pitch to us, we’ll ask you which review package you require. You’ll then be able to choose from one of the following four options:

Bronze Package – “No Rush :)” – Price: FREE

This is our free option. You’ll be added to our list, but you may have a bit of a wait. If you’re in no rush and would be happy just grabbing your reviews whenever we happen to get to you, then this is the option for you.

We have a long list of submissions and it is growing more and more each day, so this option will mean you may be waiting a long time for your reviews. As we get more urgent review submissions come in, you may be placed further down in the queue.

What this package includes:

• 2 blog post reviews (no specific publishing dates specified)
• 1 YouTube review (no specific publishing dates specified)
• 3 Amazon reviews (no specific publishing dates specified)
• 3 GoodReads reviews (no specific publishing dates specified)

Silver Package – “I could do with reviews sooner…” – Price: $4.99

If you want a little more security when it comes to your reviews, we can move you up the queue to ensure you get your reviews in the next 5 months. This option would be great for those submitting ARCs or those that maybe want to build up their collection of reviews a little faster.

What this package includes:

• 2 blog post reviews (within 5 months of submission)
• 1 YouTube review (within 5 months of submission)
• 3 Amazon reviews (within 5 months of submission)
• 3 GoodReads reviews (within 5 months of submission)

Gold Package – “I need my reviews pretty quickly!” – Price: $9.99

Oh man, you really need those reviews! If you choose our gold package, you’ll receive your reviews within 3 months of submission. This option is perfect for more urgent ARC submissions or if you just want to see your reviews much quicker. Also, what’s even better is that we’ll even throw in a bit of extra promotion for you in the meantime!

What this package includes:

• 2 blog post reviews (within 3 months of submission)
• 1 YouTube review (within 3 months of submission)
• 3 Amazon reviews (within 3 months of submission)
• 3 GoodReads reviews (within 3 months of submission)
• Weekly promos to help push your book to its highest potential.
• GIFs/Videos featuring your supplied artwork.

Platinum Package – “STOP! Review my book next!” – Price: $29.99

This is the highest tier of them all! This does, of course, imply that you need your book reviews ASAP. We’ll ensure your book is the next in line after we’ve finished our current reads.

We encourage you to tell us about your goals for your book and in turn, we can better fit your needs with our promotion. We’ll also give you extra promotion on our own personal social media channels.

What this package includes:

• 2 blog post reviews (next in line!)
• 1 YouTube review (next in line!)
• 3 Amazon reviews (next in line!)
• 3 GoodReads reviews (next in line!)
• Weekly promos to help push your book to its highest potential
• GIFs/Videos featuring your supplied artwork.
• Shares, retweets and extra social activity for your book on each of our own personal accounts, as well as the main Books Of All Shades profiles.

What if I’ve already submitted my book?

If you’ve already submitted your book for review, you’ll not be affected by these changes unless you want to be! Everyone is automatically in the Bronze Package category.

If you have already submitted a book and you’d like to upgrade to another package, please contact one of us directly, or email your new request to booksofallshades@gmail.com.

Wait. My currency isn’t USD!

Don’t worry about it. Mine isn’t either! Because a lot of our submissions come from the US, we made our default currency USD. We accept payments via PayPal, and it’s pretty good at converting to different currencies 🙂 Any questions, give us a shout!

What will you spend my money on?

The money we make from our packages doesn’t go straight into our pockets. In fact, 100% of this money will go towards new equipment for video reviews, software to create promotional material for your book as well as upgrading our websites to make your reviews stand out from the rest. We want to continue to improve the service we offer, so anything we make will go solely towards this.

Can I submit my book for a review?

Yes! We accept most genres. If you have a genre that is a bit…’out there’, feel free to ask us about it first before submitting.

We love reading and reviewing books and we’ve made some great friends in the process. We’d love you to be one of them! Send us an email to booksofallshades@gmail.com to request a review. We’d need:

• A .mobi, PDF or docx file of your book.
• Images/cover art.
• Amazon and GoodReads links.
• Links to your social media profiles, website, blog, etc.
